Wire Drawing Machine Drum Structure:

- Frame:

It is the foundation of the entire plotter unit. It is welded by support plates, bent steel, and steel sections. All materials are designed to be safe enough to enhance rigidity.

- Drive:

The power is transmitted to the capstan by the AC variable frequency motor through a high frequency connection narrow band and transmitted by the hardened reducer to the capstan.

- Capstan cooling:

A spiral water jacket is fixedly installed on the capstan spindle, and a water wheel is below. The capstan is installed on the spindle, and the lower water jacket and the inner wall of the capstan form a 10-15 mm water storage. The inside of the capstan adopts narrow slit water cooling to form a good circulating water cooling.

- Capstan structure:

The material is ZG45 cast steel billet, after quenching and tempering treatment, hb250. The hardened layer height is 100 mm, the depth exceeds 3 mm, HRC 58-62, and the service life is long.

- Wire drawing die box:

The die box is a welded structure divided into two cavities. The guide roller is installed on the side to ensure that the steel wire can directly enter the drawing die, and the die frame should be adjusted to the wire tangent to enter the drawing roller. The tuning roller is installed at the entrance end of the die bottom, and the swing of the roller is adjusted through the input power of the small cylinder, so that the corresponding sensor output signal can fine-tune the speed of change.

 

Wire Drawing Machine Electrical configuration:

(1) Inverter

The machine is equipped with a frequency converter, which has an obvious energy-saving effect. It is very convenient to adjust the speed. The frequency converter also has many protection functions, such as overcurrent, overvoltage, overload protection, etc.

2) Rust remover.

The rust remover uses high-speed operation to twist the wire at different angles to remove rust on the surface.

(3) Capstan.

The wire drawing machine drum adopts narrow groove water cooling, which has a good cooling effect. And dust is not easy to enter, and the drum is sprayed with tungsten carbide coating to extend the service life.

(4) Rotating mold box.

The whole set of machinery adopts a rotating mold box, which can make the wire drawing powder easier to adhere to the surface of the wire. Improve the quality of the finished wire.

(5) Control button

Each drum has an independent start-stop button, allowing the operator to easily control the machine

(6) Air cooling system

The machine is also equipped with an air-cooling system, which can help the drum cool better.

(7) Water cooling detection

Each drum has an independent water flow observation port for easy viewing of water-cooling conditions.
